Green needle felted wool bowl

It took me almost three days to complete this bowl, i made it for a upcoming art show...

I'm back.....

Its been almost a year for me...well I'm back and plan on using this blog more then ever before...so stay tuned!!:)

Super cool headband pattern

Using size 10 knitting needles

Using two strands of any color yarns, cast on 15

Row 1.Knit the first 15 sts.

Row 2. k3, p9, k3

Row 3. k3, cable 3, k3, k3 from cable, k6  (hold cable needle in front of work)

Row 4. k3, p9, k3

Row 5. knit row

Row 6. k3, p9, k3

Row 7. k6, cable 3, k3, k3 from cable, k3 (hold cable in back of work)

Row 8. k3,p9, k3

Repeat these 8 rows until desired length, (about 8 or 9 sets will make adult size warmer). 

Seam the two sides together to complete headband.

2 eggs






2/3 cup sugar






1/2 cup flour






3 Tbsp cocoa powder






pinch salt






2 Tbsp vanilla extract






1/2 cup melted butter






Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Beat the eggs with the sugar until mixed, then add in the flour, cocoa powder and salt one at a time. Whisk the vanilla extract with the melted butter, then combine with the egg mixture and pour batter into a greased 8-inch pie plate. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the edges are set and feel free to add nuts or dried fruits.
